TLWPC are a small art collective from, and currently based in Cardiff, South Wales.

TLWPC stands for The Ladder-less Window Painting Co.  Although a lot of people don't get the reference, it is taken from Roald Dahl's book The Giraffe The Pelly and Me; one of the girl's favourite books as a kid, which features The Ladder-less Window Cleaning Co... and so TLWPC was born.

Both Fashion and Textiles graduates with a big love for colour and pattern, they founded The Ladder-less Window Painting Co. after returning from their travels around India and Nepal.

Returning with new perspectives and heads full of inspiration, they fell into painting windows around Cardiff after displaying their 'Indian Memoirs' on the windows of Milgi; a popular vegan cafe and bar in Cardiff.

They have since gone on to do festival art, sign painting and other diverse projects and exhibitions.

They're work is very colour and pattern orientated, with strong visible links from the countries they have travelled around.

They maintain a very DIY feel, with a strong belief in supporting small independent businesses and keeping hand-made techniques and traditional sign writing alive.
